| Because the grocery-buyers of your house hate it when you pull all nighters. | |

| I have to ask, is my signature showing up? I don't know if I just can't see it or if I'm doing something wrong... | |

| -Now- what'd you do? P.S. Is it just that I'm on a different computer, or do the emoticons not scroll a zillion miles to the right for everyone now? | |

| There's something embedded in my left eye. It's too small to see. And it hurts.
But I can't go to the doctor's. Wooo...

| Sara: It's still there, but I think there are fewer Emoticons. Not sure, though. When I got on here with Internet Explorer there were ads and pop-ups. This is why I love Chrome... I haven't seen an ad or pop-up in weeks. | |

| Chrome, FTW! Google is taking over the world! I was just explaining to my mom how Google is taking over the world...and educating her on teh internets, its been about 5 years since she's been online and she still thinks old fashioned a lot of the time.
Oh, hey, I'm back at home and the emoticons scroll stupidly again. On my school computer they didnt scroll at all.

| Your mom not being online can be a blessing, Sara. Parents on Facebook can be a mixed bag. | |

| My dad has a Facebook (he doesn't really know how to use it, but he has one) but we aren't friends. The thing about most "older" people who haven't been using computers very long is that I find they have a hard time figuring things out because they wont -do- anything. Like, if I don't know how a program works, I sit and monkey with it or perhaps watch a tutorial if that isn't working. While if my dad doesn't know, he'll instantly ask me to explain every little piece of it to him. Old people need to take more risks. | |

| Depends on the parent for sure. My dad is on facebook but hardly ever uses it and never really checks out my page or anything like that and my mom is on all the time but is so busy with the people who aren't within physical reach that she never affects me much either. | |
