| Been getting tired of re-running MW2, but can't decide what to pick up next. Arkham Asylum has caught my eye, thanks to Tyj there, but there's so many games to choose from D: | |

and that makes you sad why? I've been seriously considering buying an Xbox 360. I just can't decide whether I want a new model or the Halo 3 model.

| Over-dramatacism, drenched in sarcasm.
There are several funky versions. Personally, I'd like the crimson RE5 edition, or an Elite. Your best bet would be to go with the step above Arcade though. That one has a built-in HDMI port. Not even the Elite has it, strangely enough, although that may have changed as they continue to manufacture them.

| Even though it was one of the first versions made, the Halo version actually does have an HDMI port. | |

| Are there any still around, or are you looking used?
Speaking of Halo, I'm looking forward to Halo: Reach. Squad-based SPARTANS? Yes please..

| I'm looking used. I can only find new ones for like $600 minimum. I never want to have to pay that much for a system. | |

| $600? Seriously? I'd just go Arcade then. $200 is hard to beat, although 'tis another $150 for a Hard Drive. | |

| Used, the Halo system is only about $200-$250. I figure it's worth the extra 50 if I have to pay it. But still, the real killer is gonna be a hard drive. Halo only comes with a 20 gig. | |

| I'm rockin' a 16 gig drive, and it amazes me at how much more memory room these new games take up. | |

| My brother-in-law has a 120 gig and he's used all but 7 gigs on like 20 games. | |

| Yeah, apparently DLC is the new space-killer. I'm glad I don't have wifi connected to my 360. Does your brother-in-law download all his games to the hard drive? | |

| Ah. I downloaded RE5 to my hard drive once, and it killed 3/4 of my space, so I was wondering if that's what he was doing. | |

| Unlike many others, I actually enjoyed the stealth element to Arkham Asylum. 'Tis quite clever. | |

| I do. I also buy hard discs, as opposed to downloading the entire thing. | |

| I can't complain about space, my PS3's got 120 gigs and I could always upgrade if I so desired for a bigger hard drive. | |

| I actually only have a 20GB hard drive for my 360 (i bought a first tier 360...) and have yet to fill it. Of course, i can only have a handful of demos, and i don't purchase A LOT of DLC, but it seems to be holding up okay for me.
I'm currently playing Splinter Cell: Conviction. It's pretty cool thus far. Sam Fisher has gotten a bit sadistic over time. I won't lie, it adds to the enjoyment i get out of the game. The single-player is pretty sweet, and co-op is every bit as fun. That being said, it seems a little less Sam Fisher (hardcore stealth) and a little more Jason Bourne. It's up to the masses if that's a bad thing or not. I'm going to call it a lateral movement.

| GameInformer this month said that Sam's interrogations made Jack Bauer's look like gentle massages. I'm torn between picking up the game and giving it a shot, and waiting to finish the predecessors.

| I really want to play Conviction. I've seen a video of some of the new tactical aspects of Fisher, he holds his pistol really weird. It looks like a blast though. Luckily I have some friends who will probably be picking it up before too long. | |

| Long-term, I'm looking forward to Bulletstorm. Short-term, Alpha Protocol looks pretty nifty.
I've busted out Gears 2 for old times' sake. Ah, exploding heads. ^.^

| I'm ashamed to say that I have never played a Gears of War, God of War, or Assassin's Creed. | |

| God of War is still on my to-do list. I need a PS3 and HDTV first, though. I have to determine which of the GoW's are gorier. Assassin's Creed is awesome though. All of them definitely belong on your to-do list. | |
